Ann Contreras Ranks Among Top Women Originators

Ann Contreras

COSTA MESA, CA (May 3, 2019) – New Jersey-based residential mortgage lender First Choice Loan Services Inc., a Berkshire Bank Company today announced that Loan Originator Ann Contreras is listed as one of Scotsman Guide’s Top Women Originators.

For this inaugural list, Scotsman Guide drew from the over 5,200 submissions from mortgage professionals across the nation vying for a spot among the Top Originators lists published in the April 2019 issue. The Top Women Originator list was born out of awareness that the industry traditionally is skewed more male, with 61 percent of mortgage originators being men and 39 percent being women. The publication also believes featuring women in the industry is also notable given light of the changing demographics of home buyers.

On the Top Women Originators list, Contreras ranks 123rd, having produced over $58 million in volume and 173 units in 2018. In last month’s Scotsman Guide issue, she ranked for Top Refinance Volume.

“It’s really wonderful that Scotsman Guide started this list of Top Women Originators, and I’m incredibly humbled and honored to appear on the inaugural list. I genuinely love the work that I do, and I’m thrilled to be featured among the best women in the mortgage industry,” said Contreras. “With a family of my own, I know the importance of having a place to call home. To be able to help families turn their dream home into a reality is joy. I find my greatest satisfaction is knowing my clients experienced a smooth, seamless and worry-free home loan journey.”

Senior Vice President of Consumer Direct Bill Schneider is very excited Contreras earned this most recent achievement.

“We are extremely proud to have Ann as part of the First Choice family. She is experiencing quite a milestone year in 2019. On top of appearing on the lists of Top Refinance Volume and Top Women Originators in the Scotsman Guide, she also appears on the list of Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in Mortgage Executive Magazine. She is accomplishing amazing things,” said Schneider. “Year after year, Ann qualifies as one of our company’s top producers, so clearly her production is consistently strong. Above that, she creates raving fans out of the home buyers and home owners she serves. Ann is an awesome embodiment of the excellence we value at First Choice Loan Services, and we look forward to supporting her continued success.”

Contreras is based with the First Choice Loan Services Loan Originator team in Costa Mesa, California.
