AUSTIN, TX (May 3, 2019) – New Jersey-based residential mortgage lender First Choice Loan Services Inc., a Berkshire Bank Company today announced that Senior Loan Originator Shirley Mueller is listed as one of Scotsman Guide’s Top Women Originators.
For this inaugural list, Scotsman Guide drew from the over 5,200 submissions from mortgage professionals across the nation vying for a spot among the Top Originators lists published in the April 2019 issue. The Top Women Originator list was born out of awareness that the industry traditionally is skewed more male, with 61 percent of mortgage originators being men and 39 percent being women. The publication also believes featuring women in the industry is also notable given light of the changing demographics of home buyers.
On the Top Women Originators list, Mueller ranks 144th, having produced over $55 million in volume and 204 units in 2018. On the Top VA Volume list in the previous month’s issue, she ranked seventh.
“It truly is an incredible honor to make this inaugural list of Top Women Originators,” said Mueller. “With the focus of my work on mainly serving Veterans and their families with their home financing needs, I encounter a diverse and remarkably strong demographic of home buyers and home owners. The commonality I see in all of them is an unwavering commitment to their service, and that is what I recognize in myself. I am deeply dedicated to ensuring our nation’s heroes receive service beyond belief when they come to me with their mortgage needs. Knowing they are happy with the smooth and seamless mortgage journey I provide them is the greatest reward I can receive.”
Executive Vice President of National Production James Iley is very happy for Mueller to earn this newest accolade.
“Shirley is having an unstoppable year. On top of making the Top Women Originator and Top VA Volume lists in the Scotsman Guide, she also was recognized among the Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in 2018 by Mortgage Executive Magazine.,” said Iley. “Shirley’s clients and business partners love her reliability. She provides consistent communication and steadfast service throughout every home loan process. Clearly evidenced by all these honors, her dependability expands to include her overall professional excellence. We’re thrilled to have Shirley as part of the First Choice family and look forward to supporting her future success for many years to come.”
Mueller is based with the First Choice Loan Services Loan Originator team in Austin, Texas.
